Parish Food Pantry- Twice a year we have a collection of food for our Parish Food Pantry November is one of
those times. We are so thankful for all who have donated and helped pack bags in the past. We don’t really know
how bad our community will be in need due to SNAP at the present time. Please if you can help stock the pantry
with canned goods or a monetary donation. We can always use you to pack a few bags, we have menus to go by.
Feel free to help at any time. We normally pack 130 bags each month. Thank you in advance for all your support
for this ministry.
Women of Faith is happy to announce Renee Crane will be coming to share the story cloth with our class
starting November 23 at 9:30 am sharp. We welcome all women. Renee is a follower of Jesus with a passion
for unreached people groups, especially Muslims. Renee, with 31 years of experience as a missionary, has
grown to love sharing God’s Word by using the “story cloth.” She and her husband have served with the
International Mission Board (IMB) and currently with an organization called Calvary Road Ministries. Hope
you can join us. Classroom on the 3rd floor at St John’s Lutheran Church.
We will not be taking any clothing donations until January. We will only be taking Household
Items. Thank you for your continued support of the Outreach Ministry.
Mark your calendars, the Lutheran Men in Mission will have a Spaghetti Lunch immediately following the December 14 Worship Service. Make your plans now to go down to Saints Hall for a wonderful meal and a great time of Fellowship.
