News For the Week

Thank you for everyone that helped take down the Chrismon Trees and Wreaths today.

Breakfast Casseroles- Table of Grace will be serving Breakfast Casseroles at the God’s Work Our Hands

Outreach Ministry on January 8. If you would like to make a casserole, please contact Kim Eaker or Jan Clark.

You can get a disposable pan at the church.

God’s Work Our Hands Outreach Ministry will be held this Thursday, January 8 from 8:30 am til

10:30 am. If you would like to volunteer, please meet at St. John’s at 8:00 am.

2026 Offering Envelopes are in the Elm Street Side Lobby. Please pick them up on Sunday.

Music Director

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cherryville is seeking a Part-Time Music Director and Organist. The Music Director’s job description will include responsibilities coordinating Sunday worship, directing weekly rehearsals, selecting music, preparing worship materials, collaborating with the pastor on weekly and seasonal services, providing leadership for special events, assisting with church functions such as VBS, and encouraging choir and handbell volunteers.

Candidates should demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, musical proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to teamwork. Experience with blended worship & audio/visual background, preferred.
