News For the Week 

Please keep Renee Farmer in your prayers. She is in Atrium Lincolnton for test. 

Please keep Ray Grigg in your prayers. Ray fell yesterday and broke some bones in his neck. He  is in CaroMont Gastonia. 

Please keep Judith Matthews in your prayers. She hard carpal tunal surgery today. 

Please keep the family of Susan Lockridge in your prayers. Susan’s father Max Schronce passed  away today. The graveside service will be held Saturday, May 3 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn  Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends after the service at Holy Cross Lutheran  Church. 


God’s Work Our Hands Outreach Ministry will be held this Thursday, May 1 from 8:30 am til 10:30 am.  Saints Clothing Closet will be open to Shop. If you would like to volunteer, please meet at St. John’s at 8:00 am.  Thanks! 


Estate Sale – Gay McQueeny’s Estate Sale will be held this Friday, May 2 from 12:00 until 3 pm for St. John’s  Members. The address is 1515 Delview Road, Cherryville. 


Clothes Closet – We will not be taking any more clothes for Saints Clothing Closet until August.  We are having the Outreach this Thursday and will be cleaning out afterwards. Thanks for your  continued support of this Outreach Ministry.  


Lutheran Men In Mission will be having a Corn Hole Fundraiser Tournament on May 17. We still need some  more volunteers and corn hole sets. If you can help, please contact Wayne Thom at 704-351-1079 or email  waynethomnc@aol.com
